This is one of the 3 vectors i made during the 3 week college strike we had here in ontario.

This is a Toyota MR2 from 1991.
i found the tiny reference picture somewhere on cardomain.com.
it took about 14hrs to make.

i made the car as detailed as i possibly could given the original images resolution. i left the background a simple gradient so the main focus remains the car.

The work on the car is great, no qualms here. unfortunately it's almost dwarved by the bad composition. if you have this as a personal wall paper, i see no problems, however the small car is still floating in a lot of dead space. if you use the same dimensions you have for the picture as a whole and cropped it more around the car itself, you'd have a much more successful illustration. you have a gem here, so don't bury it ;)

The car body looks awesome, love the reflections - it must have been a lot of work. The only parts that stand out due to shading problems are the tires, vents(?) on the back of the roof, and the door sill.

very nice job on the car, its so realistic, i agree with all needs some stage or scene to be perfect :D nice job

The composition is VERY bad .... get that car over to the right side of the image !

The car looks good though !
