hi, new around here.
I'm having an issue with the light in my maya project. It keeps passing right through my polygons without seeming to cast shadows. I have one key light in the scene, a spot light behind the character. And i'm getting a lot of light catching on his lower eyelids, lips and nose. Anyone have any advice on how i'd go about fixing that, if i just wanted the character backlit, without the highlights on eyelids/lips/nose?
( i hid his left eyeball to accentuate the lighting/poly issue )
