Hi !

Very stupid question I am asking, but I need to take screenshots of my flame interface.
It's version 9.5 running on Irix on Octane.
I don't know much about Irix commands, is there a mean to do that without any specific program ?

Thanks in advance !

I know there is a better way, but I just forgot how that works, so I just stick to lowering the flame (ALT+F<something>...check with some other window which function key to use, I forgot) . Now you'll have your terminal floating over the flame interface, move it somewhere where it does not hurt (plenty of grey emptiness in flame ;-) make it small then type >scrsave imagename.sgi< and enter. it will create the file in the directory you were in.

Not very elegant but it works.

hi,
ALT + F9 would lower your app to an icon on the desltop. There in the utilities there is a snapshot function.
u can check out some more utilities on www.fxguide.com (http://www.fxguide.com)
