are the two halves still unwelded? If they are welded, then you need to do something about that seam that runs down the center of the face.

I think it looks a little too human...
To me, it almost looks like a really evil baby or old woman.
I think you need to try and de-humanise the facial features. FOr starters, make the nose smaller - check out this thread (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=33802) for some excellent references for his face, and you'll see what kind of tweaks you can make to make this look more like a twisted freak of a character, than a human.
