Title: My Exciting Life As A Secret Agent
Name: Marco Fantechi
Country: Italy
Software: LightWave 3D
The life of a secret agent is a very strange kind of job; due to its nature, the existence of a secret agent is so secret that sometimes "he doesn't exist" or, in other words, "he's not here"...
Some times ago I have watched a tv show about the special-life of special-agents around the world; after some months, I recalled that tv show and I made this illustration.
I used LightWave 3D 8.5 and Photoshop.
I think I'll use this style for my future characters and illustrations.
What abot it? Thanks!

Nice work! His face is superb - especially the mouth and chin. I think his hands look a bit odd though - its probably because of the way the thumb looks.
Id love to see some more poses!

Cool work:)
the face is excellent!
the lightening could be better, dont know if you used radiosity? the shadow parts of the model are a bit dull, better skin shading would fix that-
otherwise nice!

Mind brush: Thanks mate! i love "The incredibles" too!
veljko-lemonade: Thanks my friend! I agree with you about lighting. I didn't use radiosity (but I will in my "Journey" entry). The final rendering was too big! But I'll make a small one with radiosity. Thanks for your advices!

Great job! I love it. And I love the style of your character.
The humor of the scene is further offset by the irony of the title. Great work. :D

nice and cool work man
nice work! i like this style... i just think the lights/textures don´t match with the modelling style... maybe try to work more on lightning and textures in order to get a perfect work... look pixar´s incredibles for some reference... their textures are perfect....

mlynch; MAB991; rv_umesh; rdias1972: thanks for your kind words my friends!
kerr: Thanks for your advices. You're right: in this piece I tested the following idea: I tried to put together real skin textures (it's part of my face) with a cartooning-not-so-real design. I think that for my next works I'll draw all the textures. For the lighting I had to render it at a big res in less time, so I didn't use radiosity. In general I'm quite satisfied about the results, but I have to improve many things...
Santimon: Take the first airplane to Moscow. Go to the International Hotel. Put a purple flower in your poket. Ask for Irina at the reception. She will give you a letter. In that letter you'll read:thanks mate!
