i was wondering if there are any zbrush chat rooms where fellow zbrushers can talk if not we should make one on zbrush central it would be a very good asset to the zbrush community a way of exchanging ideas and information freely amongst other zbrushers.

We need this so much please!!

All the comunity would love it, unfortunatly nothing is done for that...
That would be cool to find a free website to organisae chatt room on zbrush.

But it will require the help of a moderator.. not a piece of cake...

well i put my two cents in the suggestion box, here

http://forums.cgsociety.org/search.php?searchid=3840825

which really adds zbrush into the mix along with everyone else.

interesting thing is the head honcho of cgtalk \ ballistic publishing emailed me to say he thought it was a great idea, but i guess he was exempt from saying on here because of bias.

but its free and really is for newbies wanting to learn without bothering the pros.

oh and its free by the way!

hope the link works or i will look like a twat,

please search in suggestions for skype please.

Skype supports only 3 way video/audio conversation,so you just look at the cg talk zbrush skype go into which problem you have or type the one you need to talk to another newbie about ,set a time and away you go,3 at a time so wait your turn or start a multiple chat conversation.

testing will only see if it will be a mess, and i think any newbie who has been frustrated for hours if not days on a problem in a program, would love to talk to another same frustrated newbie to problem solve.....did i mention its free.

Antimorph over at ZBC clued me in on this nice web browser chat called Gabbly (http://www.gabbly.com). There is no software to install and it is very simple to use. Should work for simple chatting, no?

Using the following link to visit this CGtalk ZBrush forum gives you the forum and the chat window. If you don't want to chat just use a different link to this forum.

http://gabbly.com/http://forums.cgsociety.org/forumdisplay.php?f=140

Currently supported browsers are Firefox 1.5, Internet Explorer 6, Safari 2 and Flock.

Go to www.gabbly.com for more information.
