Hello,
Nice looking model.
Wood texture repeats a bit.
Your studio lacks a little 'punch' though.
Pretty cool :)
Hi geoffrey thank for the comments and criticism, the wood texture is a veneer crown cut slip matched so its 0.6 of a mm slice of a log these are called veneer leafs and then each leaf of veneer is laid side by side, it's cheaper than solid and doesn't cost or weigh as much, (sorry for the long winded explanation).
So how can i give the studio a little punch, would appreciate the help.
also had a quick look at you portfolio your images look great, very impressive.

I should know all about veneer boards. We use them all the time on stair treads! I sometime see composite landings and they look like a repeating texture map!
What I don't like about the studio is that it's a bit boring.
I'm guilty of the same thing!
A bit of tonal variation in the backdrop sometime helps.

This image has a pretty cool studio setup.
I have also used an HDR image as a something to give reflections.
The reflections on your table feet are a bit distracting.
I also add a slight glow in pshop just to soften the image. Not everyones cup of tea but makes the product a bit glossier.
Hope this helps!
Geoff
PS I've had a go at designing a chair. Bloody hard to design one that hasn't been done already!
Thanks for the advise will try and implement it into the next studio setup.
I saw that picture in your gallery very nice, I am working on a beside unit and desk with a very similar canter-liver base.
Your right, it not easy being original.
All the best, Steve.

I'm not going to say anything about the table design, but the shaders and lighting are great! Good job, I love it.
