Wow! My first entry to a challenge :P
Well, this is my concept sketch, and let me say I'm really happy with how the soul emerges from the body. Right now what I need is to fix the dead body position and a little of the soul anatomy, so they can really match each other. Also there are a lot of things to think about, like the clothing, hair style, the way the background doesn't look so "empty" and if I am really going to change the colours, but right now I like it as it is, I don't know, maybe I will change my mind later and redo everything from the beginning, it's good to think about other concepts but this is my very first, tonight I was thinking what I was going to do until I fell a sleep, so I just sketched this. Good luck to everyone and see you around, sorry for not being active at cgtalk. Bye! :)

I think it's a great concept and I'm looking forward to seeing how you develop this. Good luck to you!:)

Well, here are what I thought about the picture, the dead body's face (which definitavely I won't keep like that, I didn't like it), folds and the scheme for the sky mainly. I still have to do the lineart. I'll see.

Honestly I don't like to work with linearts, but I will have to. It's nothing personal with linearts, it's just that my colour strokes appear shaking and then I don't know what to do with it, to paint over it, or just erase. Finally I will start working with the painting. Please keep looking :P

More work and more work... I refined some stuff like the anatomy, the background and changed the dress colours. I feel lack of words right now, so I'll post the step.

More work on the background, and on the spirit, I think it was better as it was before, so I'll have to make some adjustments for it. Well, see you later, please tell me your opinion guys.

Very nice update! My suggestion is for the dead girl..something about her eye looking back and toward the spirit. It makes her look like she is still alive. I wonder if the eye were looking straight ahead would help. Just an idea. I like it so far. Keep going!:)

Thank you very much Samanthie. I think I'll abandone this for a while because I'm feeling uninspired. Don't worry, I'll get back to it, it's just that I open the PSD file and don't feel like making the first stroke. I don't know, I'll do another painting or i'll see. My greetings, yours is getting great!
