I think it can be downloaded but you must be very quick

open up the video playback page, view the source, find the first string of "wmv" and copy the url there, insert the url into a html file with a href=the url, save it and open the page in a browser, right click and save as.

if you only get a small file then it took too long, and its basicly just a video file telling you that the session time is up.

Hi! A suggestion: will you please ask them to use mpg, mov or avi (techsmith) format, cause the streaming doesn't work pretty good on there serveres :/ . I can dl with 100kb/s nomal, and it mostly just buffer about 3-10% and then says:
It says "CONTENT URL EXPIRED you have used an invalid link....."

sometimes it buffer 100% and shows a couple of seconds...

Still very happy for your very good tutorials, but just sad they cant be seen....
I really like to se them, so I hope you or someone can help !!!

Does anybody else have the same problem ?

Running win 2000, medieplayer v. 6.4, also installed the Nimo codec pack (I don't think it have any influence...) and a 512/128 connection. I doesn't download anything else while I play

it's because the 3dluvr server sucks :p it's slow and unstable
i think u'll be best of by downloading them (within the time the movie times out)
best way i found is to choose to view the movie
then view/source -->hit ctrl - f then look for wmv, the video file...
and then copy and paste the url in a download manager

and thanx for the nice movies amckay

i use flashget it's @ http://www.flashget.com
when installed u can go to edit/paste url to paste the url

it doesn't work too good trough i've got the vid's this way but 2 out of 3 seem to fail halfway downloading it...

?

correct me if i am wrong,
but if you have the wmv file
you still need to connect to the
server. Means, you need a
inet connection to view them ...?

wmv files still can be viewed locally...
Right now they're designed for webstreaming, this is the 3dluvr webmasters call not mine, but hopefully in the future there'll be downloadable versions which will be 10 X better quality. As the originals were captured at 1280x1024 100% quality.

Anyway there's a total of 15, so there should be another batch coming online soon.

Would it be too rude to wish for explosion tutorials with particles?

Your tuts are excellent :D
