Hi everyone!

I have a problem in After Effects when animating movement in pictures. If I place two positionkeyframes the movement will be in a straight line. but when putting in a third keyframe(and new position) the movement won't be linear. but rounded in the cornors. How do i make it move in straight lines from and to every new position?

I hope I explained the problem ok.

Thanx.

You need to change the type of keyframe. There is an AfterEffects forum on this board. I don't have access to AfterEffects right now or I'd give you a step by step. I'm sure this is in the help files though, just search for "key frame" or "keyframe".

yes....I think holding down CTRL and clicking on the keyframe will cyle through the types of keyframes available. If you have After Effects 7, the bezier curves for each key is easier to manage too...

animation>keyframe interpolation

to choose how the KF react.
In your case select the KF
go to
animation>keyframe interpolation
choose linear
done...
