eliseu gouveia 12-31-2002, 09:28 PM For my personal farewell to the ill-fated 2002 (and good riddance!!), this is an undercover (is that the right term in english?) I did for a french writer´s fully painted comic project a few years back.
Very 60s retro design, heroes are facing left and vilains, right.

Happy new year!
I love the crowded image (looking for Waldo) lots of superheros and villains in the standard "looking the horizont" pose. The perspective is difficult to follow, who is in front and who is behind cuz the very different shapes and heights (giants and gnomes together). Id like to see some faces details if possible, żby undercover you mean the back cover of the comic or the image on the other side of the comic? (do i explain myself?)
The torch human is a villain? (hes looking right).
Very worked image, full of poses and portraits, top level  (how long did it take you to finish?)
(i dig brackets) (yes i do)

By undercover I meant the interior double-page image that first appear in comic albums, right after you turn the cover and before the page with the credits.
The human torch is a villain; the image took me 3 days to paint (gouache over airbrush) and it´s around 62x34 cm big. :)
