Giantnookie 12-31-2002, 06:38 PM Hi fellas, new to this board.
New to 3d and 3dmax as well.

My main intention was to try modelling my handphone.
However, im not too sure where to start.
I tried using surface method, but everything just went wrong.
im not too sure how to use box modelling for this model.
basically, im just not too sure where to start.
can any kind soul guide me along?
thanx a lot.

well being new to 3d and 3dsmax you should try something simple like the tutorials that come with max
they will at least get you started in the differant types of modeling tecs
then head over to 3dbuzz.com and run some searches on modeling tutorials to improve your modeling skills

actually i've done most of the tutorials in 3dmax.
problem is, im probably too stupid.
i dun even know how to apply what i've learned.
i've done the spaceship tutorial, rhino tutorial, knight tutorial and i still cant figure out how to model the handphone.
i've got problems with the curves and stuff.
thats the main reason why i seeked help here and asked for more info.
Im not asking to be spoonfed here, just need some simple guidance thats all.
pls do help.
