Oh man, what did I get myself into this time? I was talking to someone last night trying to convince them to join the challenge . . . and then it dawned on me that it would be pretty sad if I didn't follow my own advice. Hopefully I'll be able to pump out something that won't embarrass me too much, and learn a few things along the way :scream:.

Here's a quick and dirty concept that I've been thinking about.

I think that this is what I'm going with concept wise, although I'm still working out the colors. This gives me a chance to work with water and atmospheric perspective as I've never done that before.

It would be nice if the character filled more of the pic, but I couldn't seem to find a way to make him bigger and yet keep the sense of scale.

As always, c&c is welcomed.
