Hi, I just graduated from Fullsail (http://fullsail.com) at the end of March for the associates degree.
I had two months to finish the contents in my reel and one month to put it together as a demo reel. I wanted to concentrate in Modeling and Concept art.

Click http://webzoom.freewebs.com/kanaeda43/FWThumbnails/J_Cha_cover-thumb.png (http://www.jangjooncha.com) for my REEL on my website

Here was my intent of the presentation as it was taught/suggested in my demo reel class

-Camera moves should not be boring or confusing
-have good composition and lighting
-background should not be distracting
-Try to have all the models animating even slightly to show deformations
-Try not to have models in the T pose
-Show good edge flow
-Use normal maps for game characters
-have male and female models
-show concept work with the models
-it must be atleast some what entertaining

-I dont mean to make excuses but, one thing I would like to mention that I have noticed is that I didn't have enough good wire frame shots of the faces, and the subtle animation for the Axe warrior is strange.

Critiques are very welcome!
thank you for your time in viewing my reel :)

hello me it is H ^^, thank you for the consailles very utilles that you to give us and I like your style of drawing and for the modling it is well too and my for you advises is to continue ^^ and I advise you utelized light area blue because that gives charm to the model and as all the artists 2d Advent that to make the shade of an object takes the color of the object of it and on' adds i' mpeut to it blue .

That was way too long, Make it about half that. The android is relying way too heavily on smooth, Theres a serious lack of definition on those hard surfaces. Never allow your camera to get that close to such a low res game character. Theres no reason to really animate any of these models, Its not helping them any. The lighting on the game characters will make most people stop watching your reel. I can see from your digital paintings that you can indeed color, get some texture on your highres models. The high res female was the best model on there in my opinion, she deserves some texture and less choppy camera cuts and move her to the front of the reel.

Hey man, I am in my final month at FS and thought you might want to know Frank uses your DR as a example of a good Modeling Demo Reel. I really liked it.
