Title: 67' Ford Mustang GT-500 "Eleanor"
Name: yaniv golan
Country: Israel
Software: 3ds max

hey everyone, my name is yaniv golan and i am from israel. after a long working period i finaly managed to finish this babe. (actually it's one of my favorite).
the insperation for the car came from the movie "gone in 60 secondes", and i tried to make the car as real as i could.
i hope you like it and feel free to crit :)
the car was made in 3d studio max, rendered in vray and correction in photosop.
the rendering took about 20 min. per shot

p.s. sorry for my bad english

Hi Yaniv,

car looks realistic, maybe too much shiny, but modeling is great.

Another thing is that you put the car in the scene on the road somewhere in the desert or similar nature environment. And when you have a road in the middle of nothing, only thing is to drive, but your car stand still. You will achive much more realistic look of the image if you but a little bit of motion blur and keep those wheels spinning.

great work

My dreamcar!!
Hehe.. Where is Nicolas Cage and Giovanni Ribizzi? :D

...and where are the Copīs???

I recommend you to make a city pursuit animation with lotīs of action...
(Maybe something like NFS Most Wanted Intro)

Wonderful work, love it.

Regards

Ganimed

The car looks pretty cool, it's just the reflection that doesn't fit the environment. You should take a look at that if you have the chance. It already looks great though!

i dont like your renders a much but your model kicks ass  maybe u should make better material of lights, and sides of tires are not mapped well too :)

Good try :)

but theres a few things wrong.

-The front lip is waaay to high. It should be wider and lower.

-The rear quarter panel is about 2-3 inches to low.

-the top of the side windows is a lot straighter.

-where the 2 fog lights lie in the front bumper, there should be indentations in the bottom to fit them in snuggly.

-you seem to have a second lower bumper in the rear, cant tell since you dont show any rear shots, there should only be one.

-The fuel nozzle is taller in real life.

-mirrors should be slightly larger in diameter.

-roof line curves too much, it should be slightly flatter when seen from the front.

Those are the main things that stick out atm.

You got the general shape of the car, which is a challenge in itself, so good job :).

10X for the replys guys, i m really happy that you liked the model :D .

staniol:
i agree with you m8 i really don't like my renders too. i think that it ruins most part of my model but i have to admit that i m very bad at rendering and lightning.
maybe some day i'll make some decent renders that suits this great car but right now
i m just tiered on workin' on it.
anyway thx for the crit i think i would fix the problems sooner or later.

RmachucaA:
i know that i have wrong parts in my modeling that you have said already, but most of the parts are correct and diffrent because there were many version of this mustang along the years.

p.s. here are some renders from the wip stage,i really think that the model is pretty clean but the materials and lightning really ruin it all...
