I'm getting MAD seams using AUV tiles and zmapper.
Here is a screenshot.
any ideas how to fix this? I'm using tangent normals.
I'm using Maya.

I pretty much gave up. GUV tiles in zbrush + zmapper dont work in maya. I tried everything. Read every topic on it on zbrushcentral too. no help. What did work was doing Uvs by hand or modo/uvmapper. Then mess with the settings. Still get SOMe seams, but nothing as bad as before with guv/auv.

I can't say it doesn't work because others are getting it, but I think you made the right decision and that manually editing UVs are a better workflow. If you want check out a really good UV mapping DVD get Sean Mills from Gnomon. It may help.
Thanks.

I tried to do this for a while when Zmapper was first released but it drove me crazy. I got slightly better results but eventually conceded that there was no shortcut to mapping the object yourself and hiding the seams.
I would love to know if anyone has got this to work well
