Yeah, nice !!!
Dunno, but maybe such a light source (the entire building) should put a subtle glow on the skie and trees around the building ?

again, nice.. but the lighting for the tress etc seems offf - seems like at this time of day the light would be more "duskish" right now it just seems like night with some regular lights around.. BUT i like it a lot!

hi chen qingfeng,

I like the day view very much, but in my opinion, the night view is a bit "flat". There's not enough variation in your lighting setup.

The blue light is perfect, but I think the picture would benefit from other light colors as well - red, yellow, .... Right now, it's one blue mass, and the building's articulation is a bit lost in the blue.

And I have to agree with aor and KiboOst: the background and the environment suggest lighting conditions that are not reflected in the building.

But that's the only critique I can come up with. To be honest: I wish I could produce renders like yours. Congratulations!

Cheers,
BaRa

if you made the inside lights a yellow glow, then the outside blue and then some red taillights from cars you could prolly get some depth, I really like your modeling though :D

also your second model just seems to complext, looking at the whole thing in such a small image just doesn't work, perhaps a longer more panoramic frame with a bigger size...

I'm.... so jealous. I have a lot to learn. Beautiful blue coloring there.

I prefer the night one better because, although it is less realistic, it is a good style of illustration and gives a good idea of what it really would be like. I could imagine walking into the night building more easily then I could walking into the day building.

hey, i think they are right about the lights - needs to be "more" there..

hey, what prob/method are you using to model/render these? thanks!

Looks really good:)

I especially liked the second picture. I think you should add more falloff/gradient to the backdrop.

Did you model it or is it imported from archiCAD or autoCAD?

great

Very nice, no crits here. Even though the night one may looks a little flat, it looks exatly like alot of designs for builsings.

Good stuff
