Title: The unfinished match
Name: Riccardo Covino
Country: Italy
Software: Blender

Made with Blender 2.41 (except background picture), with internal renderer (no GI).
I got the inspiration from a picture of a beautyful resort.
Chess pieces are positioned as of Kasparov-Karpov match n°32 in 1984, move 19.

Hi,

Nice image, but I think that you will improve reality by changing the material on the plant behind the bed and cushions need a little more modeling because they look odd. And position of the cushions is like they are not leaning on each other, like every one is standign for it self.

Nice idea about chess.

all the best

This looks really nice! The only thing I might suggest is to bevel the edges along some of your sharp corners. For example the table and the corners of the wall. Doing this enables some light to catch those corners and give a more realistic feeling.

Keep up the good work!
