heres a cartoony shark from a really great tutorial tell me how im doing all i have left is the bottom fins and refine some areas

I definately like the style. My suggestion would be a pointier nose, as in the drawing. I think that would help a lot.

Round off his sides too, he looks sort of square right now.

can you show us some different angles? im having trouble seeing how that looks with those shadows in the back and whatnot, he looks funky from that angle

he still looks very square................also his fins look way to thick, but maybe you like them that way, just a suggestion.
