Bungie!

Once Bungie was a cult phenomenon, a little-known favorite of gamers and journalists in the know. With the release of Halo, our cult has grown exponentially. Future products now in development will cement our hold upon this earth, bringing about our long-term goals of total world domination and a new golden age of gaming. Our goals are lofty and our standards are exacting, but we guarantee a satisfying and entertainingly
surreal experience along the way. All we ask in return is your professional brilliance.

The Cinematic Team is a special place at Bungie. Do you have the flame resistant clothing necessary to throw yourself at the resource bonfires we create? Can you help secure the funds for the enormous checks that we write? Can you follow the arcane analogies that we come up with? Every day in our department is spent overcoming technological hurdles in an effort to push movie quality cinematic graphics into a real-time environment. You'd be crazy to join us. But we're crazy, so you'd fit right in.

Generating videomatics in Maya, blocking in characters and animating the camera.
Utilizing a strong technical background to drive visually complex cinematics.
Managing special case tools and solutions from concept to production.
Using proprietary tools to script the cinematics in our engine.
Working closely with the Director of Cinematics to edit the videomatics.
Contributing to final animation polish as needed.
Working with the cinematic team to make our story real.

Practical understanding of cinematography and editing techniques
Extensive animation experience
Proficient with post-production software such as After-Effects or Premiere.
Expert in Maya.
Familiarity with 3D Max.

BA/BFA or equivalent professional video-game cinematics, animation, film or television post production experience.
Attention to detail and experience solving technological problems.
A sense of humor. Really. It's a requirement.
