Hi there. I've batch rendered about 3300 image files in .png format from Maya that I want to convert into a single animation file, taking into account ease, compression size and quality.

I have access to Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Virtual Dub.

The final file will be fit onto a DVD so file size isn't too important, and I'm more concerned about keeping almost full quality of the 680 x 340 resolution my images are rendered.

I'm just wonder what the best programme to use, how to import all the files on the timeline correctly automatically, and what the best compression/file type to use is?

Thanks alot for your help.

hi, i don't know if .png was such a good choice to use, but I know that with After Effects you can import image sequences and it will automatically set the in the timeline correctly and all that. It's quite simple. After you've got that done, all that is left is rendering the thing in After Effects with the desired codec and you're done.

hope this helped a little bit.
