ah the old milk it for what it's worth strategy ... seeing as (supposedly) the ps3 comes out november they'd like to sell the ps2 up to the point of release ...

can't blame them :)

I had considered waiting to purchase the PS3 rather than PS2 (since PS2 games should theoretically play on the PS3). Now that the pricing information on the PS3 has come out, I have gotten total sticker shock. I may shortly go out and buy myself a PS2.

besides, there are enought great PS2 games to keep me ocupied well into next year. I have'nt even touched Kingdom hearts 2 since I just beat Indigo Prophecy and am going through the japanese FF XII right now.
