The Jester entertains the King pretending to be a fool. He laughs at the King's nonchalance while the King has no idea that it is his Jester who really rules the kingdom as it often happens ?
The King laughs at the Jester not because he is amused to watch the Jester acting. The King is not that silly ? He sees through his Jester and laughs that the Jester, in his naivete, believes in being the Master of Fates.
The King goes on leniently playing fool because he does not believe in the power of the Jester...

The jester does not know that the wire from a control panel is not connected,
And king knows and consequently is dared...

Agreed, great expression on the Jester's face.

I would note that if I were the Jester then i'd have installed a wireless connector that looks like a standard one in order to fool the king :D

I pretty much like this idea, and when it's done with that level of maestria, congrats :D

It reminds me the french (or belgium) comics "Iznogood" hehe (but in that comic, the "jester" schemes to take the place of the king never succeed).

Very nice image, he's all ready to play with the king, you're my puppet toy, mwhahahaa

Now that's a great illustration, not only because of the technical part but because of the theme, it's really hilarious. I love the Jester's expression. The colors you chose and lightning are superb. No crits from here

I really love his expression, and the angle and composition is done real well. The concept is really interesting, I like the idea of the back and forth idea of who has power of whom.

I think that the image is dimmed down by the simple background, the characters appear to be out of place with their surroundings. It seems that it'll be more of an impact if the background reflected the time of the characters more, not completly, but just enough to make the characters at home.
