Heya.

This is my fourth attempt at modelling a head, and every one has come out looking... sorta like an alien :hmm: .

So I'm hoping someone here can help me.
What could I do to make this head look more human?
I'm actually aiming for a woman's face, but I'll settle for it just being human at the moment .

Thanks in advance for any help, and sorry if the image is too large for anyone.

eyes are too big, mouth is too small

did you look at some anatomy references for the geometry?

looks too pointy at the bottom

i'd say just make an alien and make your job a lot easier

You asked for help, you got it.

-The skin texture is odd

-Define the corners of eyes more, the iris is too big, make tear drop thingy, make sure your eye is curved around eyeball, and remember that the cornea makes a lump around where Iris is.

-remember, there is excess skin at top of eye, so she can blink, this skin sortof folds into the face.

-Define your nostrils, and work on that nose, it needs alot of work.

-your lip's shape is not too good, and corners look bad, also look at where the dip on upper lip is supposed to be, it's not shaped like that.

-The jaw really does not come back that far, or maybe your head is not long enough

- there are some weird bumps on your forehead

I reccomend you look at some reference from http://www.fineart.sk and use some reference images.
