View Full Version : Chain Mail
satchking 04-13-2006, 07:07 PM how can i get one Torus to respond to another in Expresso as if they were hooked together like chain mail?
Is using Expresso the best way if i wanted to use a real chain mail vest in an animation sequence? or would that take forever because id need to write that same process over and over in Expresso like 39000 times?:surprised
Many thanks in advance

Hey, I have no idea how you'd do this with Xpresso, but a quick search and I came up with this thread (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=318399&highlight=Chainmail) (Which I made :)) If you have Jenna and Clothide then it's seems to work pretty well. Mov and file included. If no Jenna.... no idea.
Hope that helps!

Hey i was just looking at your cloth explosion tut. thanks a lot for that.
i got jenna from 3dworld magazine bt it isnt working for some reason, i just wanted a chain mail vest that didnt need clothhilde. ive learned how to use clothhilde on characters but there were holes in my learning that process so i dont know what im doin wrong.:banghead:
also i figured using expresso would be a good work out since im not so familiar with it. im going totry and get my jenna to work and put that thread to good use.
Thanks buddy!! :D
