I need help urgently with this model..
it's a BBQ tray I made with Nurbs.
but i've to get some parts cut like in this image :

the problem is that when I try to do it using boolean the model su
ddenly get buckles like shown in the following pics:

the same result i get when i try to convert it to mesh or poly.

i tried to have curves projected on the surface but i get the worse results & the curve is never projected properly.

so anyone plz tell me what can i do??

hmm...if you convert it to a poly...why not just delete a few polys....to make the gap/holes whatever it is ya need...then rebuild with edge extrude etc.... seems like that would work....as for nurbs and Projecting curves etc...I only know how to do that in maya = (....sorry

Thanks dude..i finally found out how to do it..
i had to increase the "merge" value in the "Surface approximation Rollout".. I know u're a Maya user but this is for anyone who cares.
