Hello all . . .

My first post here on the WIP -

Just thought I would put this up to see what people thought of it . . . :D

Done in Maya 4 with textures created in Photoshop -

I'm still kinda tweaking things on it here and there... Trying to get the lighting to work for me a little bit . . .

Let me know what you think!

I think its very good. The mood is set nicely and the lighting seems to do it justice. Textures aside, the scene seems a little bit too symmetric, you might want to try and add some elements to break it up a bit.

Speaking about "breaking up", how about some dents and chippings on the columns and walls? Not texture-wise, actual dents created through modelling. If you really want to go rustic, you could even try breaking off pieces and laying them on the floor with some dust and chips as if some of the column/ceiling had broken off and fallen to the floor. Just ideas, of course. Very good job though!

Carl -

Thanks much for the reply and the crit! Some great suggestions . . . I have been thinking a bit about adding some little accesories and models to fill the room out and accentuate the whole scale thing. Rubble sounds like a great idea! :D

Just need to go back in and bust things up a bit . . :wip:

Thanks again . . .
