This is for a tarot card project of my friend, this is Justice card.
I had to put myself somewhere in the picture due to project guidelines, so the samurai standing up has my face.
Photo referance used for everything except the background and the clothing for the guy on his knees.
The meaning behind the composition is the roof, the wooden column, the banners and the gourds make up the shape of balance scales. And then there's me pulling off the blind fold.
I will place a katana in the samurai(me)'s other hand.
