Hi there, just signed up to this forum as I'd like some critique on a painting I've been doing in Photoshop. Please bear in mind I'm using a really annoying mouse ( I'm saving up to buy a tablet) so brush 'strokes' are pretty difficult for me. Anyway here's the sketch which was just a doodle I did at work:

And her's it with a bit of work done. Its no where near finished by the way, but I think the face pretty much is:

I'd love to hear what you think. By the way the clouds in the background is only a refference photo and aren't permanent.

I love your style: it's very soft and it gives me a filling of being "lost in the channels of time" (if that makes any sense @_@)

What's the story behind it? The flags are red, white, and blue => American?

Thanks ... very poetic. I'll do some more work to it soon. Its going to be the Union Jack by the way. There is a story around her, but its a long one.
