I downloaded them with the demo. 215 MB for the whole lot, tuts included.

I checked the tuts on the internet, but can't find any tuts on constraints, rigging or skinning.

As for the demo version that I downloaded it was only ~35mb, but it has no manuals.

ahhh, then you have this unofficial demo...you may want to download the real thing, together with the manuals from maxon's site (it's a real biggie though...)
Yet I don't think that there are tuts on your subject in the download either...

If anyone knows of any rigging tutorials I would appreciate if you could give me some links. Also, in some of the videos that are available on the maxon web site they speak as if there was a lot of upgrades in the IK in the latest version. If that is so does that mean that any books that are not on the latest version will contain very little info on rigging in version 8?

On the creative cow forum there was a post that mentioned some other tutorials that were really explaining some good IK tuts, but I don't seem to have them (BTW I did just download the full demo version). Are these tuts only on the purchased version.

What you want to do is download the Mocca manual. It comes with a bunch of tutorials for the new SoftIK system, including a really in-depth tut on the making of the Mime animation.
