Thats right! Its time to start the contest!

Topic: Use features from the latest 2.4 release to create an image/animation. It can be as daring or as simple as you'd like. See below for a list of features in 2.4.

Features in 2.4:
Customizable edit sphere
Improved bones setup controls
.mdd file Import/Export
updated particle system capabilities
Volume particle rendering technique
Volumetric Translucency enhancements
Zbrush map discontinuity fixer
New Grids&Wires shader
Displacement rendering control enhancements

*If anyone can think of anything missing in the above list, please let me know.*

Length: The contest ends June 1, 2006. And starts as of this post.

Requirements: WIP updates are required. Start your own thread with Messiah 2.4 Contest: (your name) as the title. Then post updates as you progress through creating your scene/animation. If you start off with a cube...post a render/wire of the cube. And make sure to describe your goal/story/idea so we know whats going on. Messiah must be used in the creation process, though it doesn't need to be the only application used. A final or equivalent image/animation must be posted by contest end date. (Don't worry if its a few minutes late you still will be included)

Prize: Yes! There is a prize. The winner will receive: Simulating Cloth With Messiah Soft Body Dynamics (http://www.eggprops.com/cart.php?target=category&category_id=261) a video tutorial by Wegg. If you own this tutorial already, Wegg can provide a gift certificate (as I'm sure he will produce more videos) or offer an alternative from his store.

Judges: Taron and wegg will be the primary judges. But of course both can still compete! (no prizes for them though!)

If this contest goes well, I have plans for another one, so participate! And above all have fun!
