Nice, really smooth model that is going to be easy to texture.
One question though, where is the seams for the doors ?

Doors will be created with bump maps.
Great job DKM! From the look of the model, I'd say it even rivals the REM Infoografica version (which used to be the de facto Vee Dub bus). As a VW owner / nut for 20 years.... you've nailed it. Keep posting the progress, as this bus is going to be perfect with textures / lighting!

You modelled a real cult icon there! Cool to see the textures... ever seen that lightwave render of the vw van in front of a garage? its in the lightwave galleries I think.
I've not finished the modeling yet, some parts are missing. The mapping is just a preview, some mistakes are still there (bump for the doors, etc.). And after all of these modifications, I will try to make a nice render. For your information, there is 100 spots and 1 area light in the scene : 24 minutes to render it. I think it's not so bad for the quality...
