Hi everyone,

I have some questions about importing files between Maya blender and collada.

Does anyone know how good the conversion plugins are that are available for these tools?
I saw some plugin for getting Maya objects in Blender and vice versa, and the same for Collada.

Does someone know how good the import/export plugins ar? I mean, will I have to do alot after the import/export ? like editing messed up polygons or vertex etc.

Im currently having a project that uses Blender and Collada, but i'm a Maya user, so if it is possible i wanted to use Maya --> Collada, instead of Blender :S And sometimes converting file between Maya to Blender if needed.

thnx in advance

I have tested some collada scene export between maya and 3dsmax and the results are pretty good. I don't know the quality of blender importer/exporter sorry ;)

I will make more tests in the future.
