Ok, here's a question:
Reading about new features in XSI 5, I found some text about painting"albedo" maps etc etc...
I tried to search for "albedo" on google, and found only some rough data, which were reffering to sth like "lightness" of planet/oid surfaces.
What EXACTLY is albedo, WHY is it different than surface luminance, difuse or whatever else, WHERE do You plug albedo maps to shaders, HOW do You create them?
Anyone with knowledge?

Thx.
So, if I understand it correctly, albedo map should be just a multiplier for the reflectivity of a surface?
