Location: London
Salary: £Competitive
Company: PD 3D Ltd
Job type: Contract/Temporary
Job Details:
· Insulting bonuses?
· Long hours with no overtime?
· Royalties that never materialised?
· Relocating again because your project's been canned?
It's time to get out now!
We've have 4 freelance positions for games artists who are looking for work outside of the games industry.
This is what we're looking for:
The skills - 3DS Max - Modelling, Texturing, Animation and Photoshop are a must. Premiere and AfterEffects will help.
Right place, Right time – You must have at least 3 years of games industry experience. You also need to be in London, preferably the in the West or Southwest.
What you'll get in return:
Security - Our clients are well established international companies that won't be going bust anytime soon. Unlike games, we don't develop products on publisher advances. We get paid for work done not milestone sign-offs.
Variety - Our projects typically last a week, so you won't get bored. Instead of being pigeon-holed into one process, you'll learn an enormous skill set that will stand you in good stead whatever the future holds. You'll be modelling, animating, compositing, editing, creating DVDs and more.
Cash - How much we pay you depends on your personal commitment and productivity. If you have to work until 11pm on the Sunday to meet the deadline, rest assured you'll be well compensated. We don't believe in fixed salaries, false promises about royalties and non-existent bonus schemes - our staff do, and can earn anything up to 50k producing art work.
If you are looking for an exciting opportunity outside of what the games industry has to offer, send us your CV and apply below.
