Title: BRISCA F2 Stockcar
Name: Paul Donaghy
Country: United Kingdom
Software: Photoshop, Rhino
This is a model of a BRISCA F2 Stockcar owned and raced by a good friend of mine Paul Carter. Although not the most complex shape in the world i set myself a challenge and modelled this from photo's references only. Its modelled in Rhino rendered in Flamingo with the textures done in photoshop 6 I hope you like it !! Check out the real thing to see if i got close !! www.navystox.co.uk

Great work man!The tires and the overall render/lightning could need some work.
Whats the deal with those roof wings on those cars btw?

Looks good. I agree with the above crits.
The deal with the wings, since the cars only ever turn in one direction the entire time, the wings help with stability. Unless you were talking more in the modeling sense.

The modelling looks great, but i agree some dirt would look cool. maybe you could insert into a photo?

Good work. The modeling and texturing look spot on. Like the previous post suggested, I would put some tracktion on the tires and work on the render a bit.

Thanks guys i really appreciate your comments, as for the tyres yes your right they are a little basic but i did stuggle with what to do with them after all there racing slicks so there's not alot to do LOL. As for the wing your also right its to stop the cars flipping when they corner by providing downforce. These little cars race at 100 mph around a 1/4 mile full contact so it makes an exciting spectator sport. Here's a picture of the yellow grades lined up at the start of a race to give you the idea of the size of the cars and track.
Again thanks for looking
