View Full Version : Need help with HI-solvers !!!

Hi everyone !

I hope to get some help here: iīve made a sceleton for my character and created all the needed IK-chains (HI-solvers)...
Here is a pic:

Now my problem: if i link the end effector of the IK-chain with the dummy (i placed around that effector) the whole leg turns or rotates out of place !! Since this is my first rigging i really get a headache - what i am doing wrong ?!

Sounds like you missed out making constraints or *goal* objects to control the angle of rotation of the limbs. Check out the help files under Animating with the HI IK solver. :)

also make sure all your dummy pivots are aligned to world before linking bones to them!

Thatīs it skunk184 : i forgot to align those f....reaking pivots to the world. Thanx !

Thanks also to xynaria, iīve read them, but my english isnīt that good, so iīve not understand everything :D
