View Full Version : install function from Soft 3.8 to 3.9

I want to get a favorite 3.8 tool into 3.9.
It's WELD+, I have the .exe and the .cus file in their proper folders ( at least I think so )
So what's next? I can't find where to get it added into the menu ( under POLYGON )

It should be in the same menu that it was located in, in 3.8. Maybe you are missing a dll?

I looked for a .dll ..found none.
So I fired up the old O2, which is has 3.8, and looked at any of the files in there.
I found the problem

When extracting the WELD files from the 3.8 CD, the name of the .cus file was not properly formatted.

WELD~v4.CUS should have been WELD.V4.cus.

And now it works..Woo hoo!

BTW, I'd've posted this question to the CGtalk SOFT forum but it would crap out on me evry time I tried.
