i am wanting to take an image of someone with red lips and get it so the image is black and white with really bright red lips so that they are very bright. kind of like those photos (can't recall the photographer) which have a child in black and white with a bright red hat, etc.

easy effect in photoshop, but how to go about doing this for video?

Youcanuse keyers to isolate a determined range of colors and dessaturate the image, or using paint and masks.

or u can use simply hue/saturation and desaturate all the color channels except red.

thanks guys

i am having trouble getting the grip on AFX. photoshop is like second nature to me, but AFX just is different, and the way it does masking and all that is a bit odd to me. hopefully it all clicks soon.
