View Full Version : Its the days for issues I guess!

Aloong with the Direct 3D Thing I posted, I also have this following issue that I didn't have before (3 days ago). When I go to make a preview (Max 5) it shows it making the preview and then when It gets all done it open's Media Player, and there is nothing but black. Plays the correct time, but shows nothing. However, the very fist frame shows up when it is done playing.

Anyone else had similar issues.

What codec are you rendering out to?? I know on my computer if I render something out and the codec is set to full frames uncompressed, when I go to play it, the first frames shows for a while and then it is REALLY choppy, but I've never had just solid black... :shrug: Dunno if this could be your problem or not, or something just wrong w/ media player.

I know uncompressed will sometimes do that with low ram or a video card with too few pipelines, but I'm rendering to Cinepack Codec, and have tried Divx, Quicktime, and Sorensen (My Favorite). And nothing. When I render out normally it works great.

I've found that I can't have anything over the top of my preview while it's rendering. It's almost as if it's doing a screen grab, and I'll get ghost images, or browser windows showing up in the render.

sadly I don't have a good answer for your problem. :shrug:

Hmmmm, interesting. Might just be a bug and have to do a reinstallation. Those are always fun!! Thanks for all the help.
