fire looks good imo, but I think its a bit... crowded. thats the only way I can describe it.

crowded is a good term. I was going for a composition that really pushed the envolope on the number of elements and attempted to blur the planes of fore, middle, and background in an effort to achive a sense of confusion and DEconstruction of the elements. I was after the feeling you'd have in a real
disaster.

i like it, however the only thing wrong with doing what you did is that it flattens the image...bluring the distinction between fore, middle and background... what it needs is a "focal point," something small in the debrees that draws you into the pic so you feel it rather then see it
