View Full Version : Rendering with MR From outside maya

Hello there.

Is there anyway to render with Mental Ray without opening maya to save memory and without usign MR standalone.

Any tools or ideas about this subject.

Hi, you could do that by rendering using the "render" command in command prompt. Type "render -r mr -h" command or refer to Maya's Help for info about the render flags.

Yeap it was that easy " render -r mr test.mb "
