hey guys

how could I bake the textures on this so I could use the ship in any app, I have c4d r8 with the bodypaint module

they're all procedural and uses the dirtynuts shader for diffuse

The only real option for Cinema is the Baker plugin from Bhodinut--a free download from Maxon. Unfortunately it doesn't work all that well. It requires a very good UV map with *no* overlapping faces.

Another option--not perfect--would be to render from top and bottom views and use those as a flat-mapped textures.

Wow... you must have unlocked the Talent plugin mdme_sadie was talking about. :applause:

Yeah, the baker pluging doesn't work that well but it is useable, you've got some very good lighting on that ship so the map shouldn't look too bad once you've baked it.

that plugin kicks ass in conjuction with bodypaint's UV tools

i've been to maxon.net website and searched through plugins for baker but can't seem to come up with anything....also been on bhodinut and done a search....anybody got a link i can get it from...thanks.
