This was a Golum Wip I screwed around with after seeing Mike RB's Gollum model, I thought what a cool idea, so 7 hours later (and still counting) heres where I am, any comments or advice would be apreciated.

Not bad, i think you could adjust the color of eyes, there are too blue, gollum's eyes are more light blue, and about the modelisation, i think this very correct, now you should try to detail the face
:) good JOB

A bump mappin test. I've yet to UV the eyes . The Face geometry is still quite heavey so I've got to figure a way to change the topology in order to make the detail feel and look less forced.

Thanx for the advice I should have the eyes done by this evening.

the only thing keeping this model from being really good is the eyes

I like this model, it's very well modeled but unfortunately, it doesn't really make me think of Gollum when I look at it. It just doesn't feel like the Gollum that J R R Tolkien described in his books. If it was a character that you came up with it would be perfect but as Gollum, it really doesn't work.
Sorry!

LOL!! I appreciate the comments, I feel the same now that I look at it, I've needed reference, thanx for the link. I'll remodel him again to better capture his essence I see what you mean,

it looks pretty good so far, the only thing is the eyes look like glass. Turn down the reflections on them

Needs more definition between the bottom lip and the chin, they look a bit flat to me.
