I guess I'm going along the fantasy side ... sort of a pod racer kinda thing. Hope I manage to do this thing! :D

I'm thinking of a main hexagonal tunnel with beams (like the inside of a big ship) ... maybe add a few obstacles to provide an excuse for a crash. bwahaha

the intakes unter the cockpit in the drawing seems to be more rectanglular, I like it that way more than the wip's rounder intakes, I know you are not done, just an observation of a detail in the drawings... Nice work.

Thanks for the coments guys ... but just a few days without working on this and I see
everyone is way ahead now and with realy good things coming out.

Been reading up on hard body dynamics and stuff ...
I also wasn't happy with my previous model construction ... kinda sloppy ... went back and re-did it ... have to finish off the back ... I now I shouldn't have remade it since its we are to focus on particles and stuff but ... coudn't help myselft ... :shrug::D

Wow! Looks really cool, much improvement from before. Are you planning on spending much time texturing or straight into the FX?

I've been buming around. My excuse is I have to much free time on my hands and therefore am completly unproductive! hehe
Figured I'd post a little update on my laging progress:
This is my final racer model without textures ... still:

And I made a quick capture of the inicial 2 sequences, I think the total will be three ... last one is the crash ... no cool animation on the jets yet. The bottom racer is intended to be catching up with the top racer. Eventualy they bump and crash, I suppose.

Nice camera work. I always forget to animate my cameras. Gives the real sense of speed.
I hope you are able to finish this. That would be a very cool model to crash.
