Here is the concept sketch, it's a small character and his equipment on a big bug starting a long journey

Nice model, it reminds me of the facehugger with pink legs like that, but that's not to say it doesn't look original! :p Let's see more!

I like the original render much more then the final comp!!

The original is alot more lively; nice colors and the character seems to be a part of a credible world...

The final comp is way too dark, too contrasted... it sucks the life right out of it.

good luck!

I agree with patbb, they both look very nice though. Love the color and lighting in the original render! (Just upping the saturation in your comp will probably fix it)

I have made little changes on the color/contrast which was too dark.

This last one is good. It's just a matter of taste ... someone like saturated colors other dont. Just do it your way. ;)

The journey begins for three little "Eloms", they are on the back of a "Rin", mix between a spider and an insect. "Rins" are well employed in the "Eloms" country but the main problem is that a "Rin" only run when the rider sing, and it really don't care if the song is true or not.
This journey will be a very, very,... long journey.
