Thats really cool. !!!!!

Is it windy? I get the Idea but can't really tell for sure. If it is supposed to be windy maybe have more streaks of snow.

Just a bit of confusion but other than that is an awesome piece.

I like it very much, but I think the red of the "feather-hat" stands out too much from the rest of the color scheme

Looks great. Really great.

Just noticed you were running Max 5, you mind telling us how you achieved such great looking fur on the animal?

jeb
12-29-2002, 05:27 PM
maybe because max 5 has lots of bugs. max 4 has some too, but is a bit more reliable.

Sorry guys, but I also have a off topic question, I noticed on some of your pictures that you are using Max 5 and Deep Paint 3D. I am looking into getting it, but no where on their site does it say that it even works. I have the demo of both Deep Paint 3D 2.0 and Deep UV. I get Deep Pain 3d to work in Max 5 (looks nothing like your picture shows) but when I go to send it back to Max, it crashes it. And Deep UV doesn't work at all. If anyone can shed some like that would be awsome.

And as for the art work, inspiring is the only word. Great job man.

Really cool. It even looks like the beasts headgear has flattened his mane.

The red hat does stand out. But maybe it should somewhat imagine trying to find someone out in a snow field, you'ld want something bright to look for. Then again it looks a little odd as it is, maybe dirty it up and add some wind to it.

But what do I know :)

VERY NICE WORK.
However....I didn't even see the VERY COOL GUY when I first looked at the picture. After reading the comment about the red head gear I went back to look for him in the red head gear and found it in the first picture. It would do your character a lot more justice to seperate him from the animal, so work on the staging. Maybe put the character in front of the animal, so his silhouette stands out.

But I'm just making thess comment because I LOVE YOUR WORK.

peace,
Kane

your model of the character is very interesting with tons of details in the accessories but your first image does not show any of that nice work! I would consider changing the spatial organization to focus more on the character as opposed to the creature.

Amazing work. One thing, when you look at the flag it looks like it is blowing to the right. When you look at the hair on the animal thing, it's not really blowing; more of an up and to the left if anything. Just a minor thing, work on getting it more looking windy in the whole picture, not just in sections. Great job!

Thanks indeed that you like these works. But all the
3dmax files had been damaged because of the harddisk's
error of my computer ,therefore I only have these pictures
for memory.

really great work. I enjoyed the wireframes a lot :D
As some more people said, the man should be more visible, i had to take a look at the image twice for seeing him.

I like the concept alot.. I think some charm of the character is lost in the final picture however.. I would have liked to make the guy more visible, its a shame that some details are lost on such a nice looking character.
