Cool stuff mate. I particularly like the work you have put into the jacket of the figure. The hand pose is really good too. Top Work!

Really good! Nice details. I agree, good job on the jacket. 4/5 from me. Please explain to me (because I don't understand) the title and it's reference to the image.

Hi soracle, thank you for your comments, to explain the title, well one definition of commode would be: a boxlike structure holding a chamber pot under an open seat;

I wasn't really sure what to call the piece, but I decided to go with this title to voice my opinion about the recent or "not so recent" hype about the da vinci code, the movie, the books... and everything surrounding it. I don't agree with it. I won't say that there isn't room for debate, but I think that there is an outright slander, or movement by "that crowd" to discredit jesus, who he was and what he was about, and hence, I think "that crowd" is perpetuated by this charicter I've illustrated here, be it you believe or don't believe, talk to non-religous, or non-spiritual people, who have touched on the dark side and some or most will tell you they believe in the devil, any hoot, this is the da vinci commode, the pot under the seat, "the $hitah" that all that hype comes from, the place where this well know icon, or charicature comes from, at least that is my perseption, my opion, and my conveyence behind the piece, you don't have to agree with me, or even look into it so deep, and just see it as a picture, of some funky looking devil charicter.

ps: I don't want to bring my polotics, or beliefs into my art, but it is me, and my passion, and I am not ashamed. Thanks for your interest and comments.
