Greetings.
I am trying to find a solution for Maya that functions like "Consolidate Footage" in After Effects or "Content Manager" in Lightwave. A tool that allows someone to take a textured model in a scene and export it with its textures to targeted folders -- resulting in say something like an "objects" and a "textures" folder. The purpose would strictly be for archiving assets with their respective textures in a folder next to them.
Any ideas? I have looked for different scripts, but none that I have found has this functionality. They are limited to just redirecting texture paths and the like.
I know Deep Exploration tries to do this, but not to my liking and unreliable.
Thanks!
Tony
