This method works great for new, simple objects. My problem is with introducing it to a model that I completed earlier this year.

Took model, freeze transforms and delete all history - in the Hypergraph it looks like a clean, geo-only scene - and duplicated it with the default settings.

When I connect the Out Mesh to the In Mesh the duplicate object will scale larger and translate several units left and up. If you can tell me how to get it to act normally that would be appreciated.

Thanks! :)

bump.

Anyone have any idea? I've been trying different option in the connection editor with no luck. Again, any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is almost certainly something specific to your scene and setup. Explore alll the settings in the transform nodes, it could be any of a hundred different things.

Thanks for the reply Bonedaddy, I had already gone over the transforms a hundred times, lol. BUT...I finally figured it out.

Figured I'd try to "reset" the verts somehow by creating more construction and then delete history. After selecting all the meshes I smoothed then but divisions at 0 and deleted history. After that it works as normal. :-)
